What Is OCI Databases Category

Hello everyone,

After covering a brief introduction of OCI in What Is Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, we mentioned the databases category which is the subject for this blog post.

The database category is split into two main sub-categories:

  • Oracle Databases:
The oracle database sub-category cover ATP, ADW, AJD, DBCS VM/BM, dedicated, Exadata and Exadata Cloud@Customer.
  • Distributed & OSS Databases:
The distributed and object service storage database sub-category cover HeatWave MySQL, Cache, PostgreSQL and OpenSearch.

I hope you like this short article and I highly recommend checking blog posts where we expand other OCI categories.

In the future, we're going to talk a lot about OCI database services, describing and highlighting the benefit and advantages of each database service.
