What Is Oracle Enhanced PartnerNetwork Program

Today, we're going to talk about Oracle Enhanced PartnerNetwork Program (OPN).

What is Oracle Enhanced PartnerNetwork Program?

Nice question, Oracle as one of the leading company in the cloud sector, with a strong technical and marketing positioning in the market, being present for many years, not a new company as everybody knows.

After years of presence in the market, Oracle decided to launch Oracle Enhanced PartnerNetwork Program known as OPN which is designed to foster collaboration, drive customer success improving the value delivered to the customers.

The program is flexible to the level that customer who are a part of the program can select the level of participation based on their business objectives, currently we have levels from level 0 to level 3, which allowing partners to benefit from training, technical support, monetary incentives or oracle partner credit and go-to-market collaboration.

Currently, Oracle offer two type of memberships which are Principal Oracle PartnerNetwork and Associate Oracle PartnerNetwork.

  • Principal Oracle PartnerNetwork is designed for the entity that is accepted in the OPN program under the OPN agreement, as principal the entity administrator can manage the membership with all details agree on terms and conditions and benefit from the OPN program. 
  • Associate Oracle PartnerNetwork is designed for subsidiaries of a principal entity that is accepted in the OPN program, the subsidiary entity can be wholly or majority owned by the principal entity that is accepted and currently active OPN member, the associate membership is associated to the principal entity with associate entity respecting the terms and conditions that the principal entity agree upon in order to benefit from the same benefits as the principal entity, in most cases the principal entity is the HQ of the company while the associate entities are subsidiaries of the company in other countries and owned companies whether it's on the same country of in other countries than the principal entity.
